The 2010 Senseless Skimfest was one of the most impressive ones to date, even with the hurricane-esque winds in the afternoon. The morning held clean, sizable shorebreak that the first round of pro heats took advantage of. By the pros’ second round, however, the winds had arrived and more than blown out the conditions. Luckily, the wind blew liners going left and the professional riders applied whatever game plan they could to beat the wind and get on them.
Austin Keen definitely held the upper hand with his crawling drop, allowing him to keep the board from being blown away by the wind. And when Austin did get to the waves he put on a show of slashes, airs, and shove-its. Corey Ryan also popped some airs and shove-its along with some of the smoothest wraps in the game. Cameron Carothers and Geoff Hughins battled the wind and picked off BS wraps and liners.
The final results for the pro division saw Geoff Hughins in 4th, Cameron Carothers in 3rd, Corey Ryan in 2nd, and Austin Keen in 1st.
Corey just had a feeling… What can you say?

This is a test. But you’re still cool Teddy!
