Skim Invasion started with one purpose … to modernize and push skimboarding events. Since Skim Invasion’s inception in 2003, the mission statement has evolved. The current mission of Skim Invasion and it’s staff is to push skimboarding as a sport in two key sectors.

Skim Invasion Two Key Sectors

1. Events – Skim Invasion’s bread and butter are its events. Skim Invasion continues to listen and work with all competitors in building an environment that’s not always about crowning a champ but building a larger and more diverse skimboarding population. Skim Invasion will continue to focus on amateur style events and provide a key element that skimboarding lacks elsewhere. SI events are not about having record turnouts but building up skimboarding populations in areas where skimboarding a short while ago never existed.
2. Media – Since 2009, Skim Invasion is building a website through a deep staff of talented individuals to push skimboarding media to a new level.
