What we were waiting on was word from the county on the permit. It’s nice and all to get all the emails telling us the beaches were fine but the end all be all word comes from the county. And two weeks ago we got the green light from the county on the event. The contest will be held on October 9 & 10 and feature both professionals and amateurs as usual.

The previous layout was drowning out the events through the rising media. The events section has a few major features, which include:

  • Feedback - Skimboarders can rate how Skim Invasion does post event. When some of the other skimboarding event organizations love to avoid the criticism…Skim Invasion embraces it because we always want to know areas we where we can improve.
  • New Results Page – We’ve got a cleaner system for contest results.
